Baseball Team Beats Tipton

The Eagles scored two runs in the first, second and fourth innings then added a single run in the sixth to earn a win at Tipton on Monday.

Mark Sevier led the Oak Hill offense going 2-for-3 with a double and scoring three runs. Landry Ozmun also had two hits and a run scored. Matthew Hershberger and Nate Alston each had a hit and drove in a run. Evan Pearce had an RBI for the Eagles.

Freshman Keegan Deaton pitched a complete game, three hitter with two strikeouts, no walks and just a single earned-run allowed to earn his first varsity win.

Oak Hill (4-8) will travel to Frankton on Thursday then host Wabash on Friday at 5 p.m.
