Boys And Girls Swim To Wins Over Comets

Ashtin McDivitt and Taylor King were double winners Thursday evening and helped lead the Golden Eagles past the Comets for their second dual meet victory.
McDivitt placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:13.43) and 500 freestyle (5:59.31). King had wins in the 50 freestyle (25.98 seconds) and 100 backstroke (1:05.57).
Hayleigh Elliott won the 1-meter diving competition with 214.50 points. Other winners were Audra Berens in the 100 butterfly (1:16.64); Mallory Cheek in the 100 freestyle (1:04.53), and Emma Bledsoe in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.72).

Landon White and Dalton Scheffer each collected two wins Thursday evening and helped lead the Golden Eagles over the Comets in their season-opening meet.
Landon White swam to firsts in the 200-yard individual medley (2:23.55) and 100 breaststroke (1:10.37). Scheffer’s victories were in the 500 freestyle (5:24.10) and 100 backstroke (1:02.48).
The Eagles also received wins from Landon Ashley in the 200-yard freestyle (2:15.48); Samuel Boyer in the 100 butterfly (1:03.87), and Wyatt Drollinger in the 100 freestyle (55.62 seconds).
