Boys Swimming Tops Braves; Girls Fall

Maconaquah won eight of 12 events but the Golden Eagles finished second nine times and third eight times to beat the Braves in Bunker Hill on Monday.
Individual winners for the Eagles included Wyatt Drollinger in the 200 IM (2:19.31) and 100 fly (1:01.63) and Macallister Cheek in the 500 free (5:47.85).
Dalton Scheffer won the 200 free (1:59.20) and finished second by .05 seconds in the 100 free. He also anchored Oak Hill’s 200 free relay that was edged by .03 seconds.

Maconaquah 114, Oak Hill 72
The Braves won nine of 12 events in swimming past the Eagles.
Oak Hill had three individual wins on the night as Taylor King won the 50 free in 25.88, Hayleigh Elliot won the diving completion with a score of 220.30 and Emma Bledsoe won the 100 breaststroke in 1:13.44.
