Boys’/Girls’ Swimming and Diving Defeat Huntington North

Oak Hill 118, Huntington North 50

Oak Hill won its season-opening meet on Tuesday.

Austin Daugherty won two individual events and was part of two first-place relay teams. Daugherty won the 50 freestyle in 25.47 seconds and the butterfly in 1:08.14. He teamed with Grant Brown, Kegan Anderson and Chanse Mygrant to win the 200 medley relay in 1:50.40. Those four also combined to win the 400 freestyle relay in 3:46.95.

Mygrant and Brown also won two individual events. Mygrant won the 200 freestyle in 2:07.67 and the 500 freestyle in 5:40.76. Brown won the 100 freestyle in 53.68 seconds and the backstroke in 1:01.13.

Anderson won the 200 IM in 2:17.34. Brayton Swan, Nick Smith, Sam Kunsman and Levi Graff won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:49.24.

Girls’ swimming and diving

Oak Hill 120, Huntington North 50

The Eagles moved to 3-1 on the season.

Hailee Scheffer was a double-event winner for the Eagles. she won the 200 freestyle in 2:14.13 and the 500 freestyle in 6:00.79. Scheffer also teamed with Elissa Austin, Krista Hobbs and Hannah Brown to win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:55.85. She teamed with India Ulshafer, Erika Ford and Melissa Ford to win the 400 freestyle relay in 4:16.81.

Ulshafer won the 200 IM in 2:39.25 and was second in the backstroke in 1:11.43. Erika Ford won the butterfly in 1:07.63 and was second in the 200 IM in 2:48.07.

Melissa Ford won the 50 freestyle in 26.84 seconds. Jackie Sciaudone won the 100 freestyle in 1:00.13. Brown won the breaststroke in 1:17.83.

Ulshafer, Brown, Erika Ford and Melissa Ford won the 200 medley relay in 2:03.55.
