Caiden Lake Sets Dive Record In Boys Swim Win Over Comets

Junior diver Caiden Lake set the six-dive scoring record in Thursday’s meet and helped lead the Golden Eagles past the Comets.
Lake totaled 333.15 points off the 1-meter board and surpassed Chris Simmons’ mark of 325.70 in 2009.
The Eagles also had individual firsts from Dalton Scheffer in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke, Arik Gamble in the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly, Jon Holz in the 50 freestyle, Blake Thompson in the 100 freestyle and
Blake Lefavour in the 100 breaststroke.
Lefavour  and Holz teamed with Jeymin Smith and Jonathan Maynus to win the 200 freestyle relay. Gamble, Sammy Sommers, Gavin Holz and Elijah Maynard captured the 200 medley relay. Gamble joined Chase Austin, Macallister Cheek and Benjamin Martin to win the 400 freestyle realy.
