The Golden Eagles suffocated the host-Kings defensively, allowing just a 6-for-27 (27 percent) shooting performance and
forcing 24 turnovers in the win Tuesday night.
Taylor Westgate led Oak Hill with an all-around outstanding performance. The senior Indiana All Star candidate finished with 18 points, 13 rebounds, five blocks, four assists and three steals.
Junior Carlee Biddle added 12 points, three steals, two assists and two rebounds. Abby Shaw chipped in eight points, three steals and three assists. Kate Hornocker, Vera Miller
and Audrey Leak scored two points apiece.
The Eagles actually trailed 6-5 after the first quarter and led just 12-11 at halftime, but outscored Cass, 22-3 in the third quarter and 32-5 over the final 16 minutes to cruise to the win.
Oak Hill (12-4) travels to Blackford on Saturday for a 12:30 p.m. tipoff in an battle between the last two unbeaten teams in the Central Indiana Conference standings.
