Madison-Grant (7-6) is all alone atop the Central Indiana Conference boys’ standings at 3-0 and hosts Frankton (5-6, 1-1) on Friday. In other CIC games, Eastbrook (2-7, 1-1) hosts Oak Hill (6-4, 1-1) and Mississinewa (2-8, 0-2) travels to Blackford (1-7, 1-2).

Saturday, the same teams hook up for girls’ league games. Oak Hill (12-2, 3-0) will attempt to remain atop the standings when it travels to Eastbrook (4-8, 1-3), while Madison-Grant (7-7, 2-1) travels to Frankton (7-8, 2-1) with both teams looking to remain in contention.

Oak Hill has a dual meet Thursday at Tippecanoe Valley and then defends its championship at the CIC meet Saturday in the Eagles’ pool. The 38th girls’ state tournament begins in less than three weeks, with the Eagles and Marion competing in the Fishers Sectional.

Except for Mississinewa, the local wrestling teams have dual meets this week, and everyone will be involved in invitational tournaments Saturday. The state tournament begins Jan. 28 with local teams converging on Oak Hill for the sectional round.
