The Oak Hill wrestling ran its dual meet record to 23-0 and Mother Nature may have been the only force keeping the Golden Eagles from winning their seventh-consecutive Central Indiana Conference championship on Saturday.
Oak Hill won all four its duals on Friday, beating Eastbrook (82-0), Madison-Grant (58-21), Mississinewa (54-15) and Elwood (59-15) in day one of the two-day format. The Golden Eagles will wrestle against Frankton, who also ended day one at 4-0, when the tourney resumes at 6 p.m. on Monday in Elwood. The Eagles also have remaining matches against Alexandria and Blackford.

The tournament was originally scheduled to conclude on Saturday but was postponed because of weather.

Madison-Grant, Mississinewa and Alexandria each finished the first day at 2-2, Blackford and Elwood went 1-3 while Eastbrook ended 0-4.

The Argylls earned wins over Blackford (52-24) and Alexandria (45-36) while being defeated by Oak Hill and Frankton (51-30).

Ole Miss defeated Elwood (35-30) and Alex (43-36) before losing a close match to Frankton (42-38).

Mississinewa will face Madison-Grant in the first match Monday, then the Indians will wrestle Blackford and Eastbrook. The Argylls also face Eastbrook and Elwood.

Eastbrook dropped decisions to Elwood (34-15), Frankton (60-19) and Blackford (48-30) and will battle Alexandria to start on Monday.
