The Oak Hill wrestling team moved to 3-0 in dual meets after a 76-6 victory over Taylor on Tuesday at Oak Hill.
The meet started at 106 pounds where Oak Hill’s J.C. Herring won by forfeit. Max Stefanatos then pinned Allan Winburn in 4:46 at 113 pounds to put Oak Hill ahead 12-0. Cole Ridgeway got a 10-1 major decision victory over Hunter Blades at 120 pounds to give Oak Hill a 16-0 lead.
Travis Davenport at 126 pounds, Zach Gunter at 132 pounds and Luke Buckler at 138 pounds all won by forfeit to give the Eagles a 34-0 lead. Luke Leckron picked up a pin in 26 seconds at 145 pounds. Brody Hardcastle then got a pin in 43 seconds at 152 pounds and Blaney Harrison got a pin in 2:44 at 160 pounds, putting the Eagles ahead 52-0.
Noah King got a forfeit at 170 pounds. Stewart Mossholder then got a pin in 2:20 at 182 pounds to put the Eagles up 64-0.
Garrett McDowell got a pin in 17 seconds at 220 pounds and Owen Perkins got a pin in 3:39 at 285 pounds to round out the scoring for the Eagles.
Oak Hill will compete in the Grant Four Meet on Monday at Eastbrook. The Eagles have won the Grant Four championship for 20 out of the last 21 years and have won 40 of the last 42 tournaments. Oak Hill faces Mississinewa in the opening round, Eastbrook in the second round and Madison-Grant in the third round.
