Wrestlers Unable To Advance To State Finals

The four remaining Eagle wrestlers were unable to punch a ticket to state finals at the Fort Wayne Semi-State on Saturday.

Juniors Bradley Rosman and Stewart Mossholder both fell in their opening round matches. Rosman lost his opening round match to Homestead’s Brady Wyro in a major season. Bradley finished his junior year with a record of 23-11. Mossholder fell to Huntington North’s Charlie Agnew in a decision. Stewart finished with a 32-4 record.

Freshmen Aidan Hardcastle and Harper Dedman both finished their outstanding freshman year on Saturday. Hardcastle lost a 8-2 decision to Bellmont’s Andrew Hutker. Aidan finished his freshman year at 32-3. Harper Dedman won his opening round match over Delta’s John Robinson winning 9-4 and advancing the the state finals ticket round. In the ticket round Harper lost a tough decision to Garrett’s Brayden Shearer, 8-3. Harper finished his freshman year at 33-3.
