Wrestling Goes 3-2 At Huntington

Oak Hill won three of five matches and Travis Davenport went 5-0 at 106 pounds Saturday in the Huntington North Invitational.

The Golden Eagles defeated the Vikings 46-30, Whitko 46-33 and Fort Wayne Dwenger 35-33 and lost to Garrett 40-28 and Carroll 65-12 to end the meet with a 3-3 dual record.

Davenport was the only Eagles wrestler to finish unbeaten but Breighton Mullinix (138 pounds) and Keegan Scott (220) went 4-1 and Kaleb Marin (160) Ethan Bowland (285) each went 3-1. Andrew Tucci (120) and Shane Curtis (132) went 3-2. Lee Mann (182) and Nick Cunningham (285) won their only matches.

Oak Hill hosts Frankton on Thursday.
